These are my two oldest nieces, Mackenzie Alexandria & Spencer Morgan. I adore these two little girls. They Rock! They are so much fun to hang with. Hmmm I wonder who they take after. ;) ( Girls call your Tia soon because I miss you bunches) Anyways, I will post a closer up pic of them later but I wanted to post this tonite.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I must go to bed now, seeing how late it is. :) I have to wake up at 5:30 so I won't get much sleep tonite. Stay always encouraged because God is wonderful. He has blessed me so much, if He never blesses me again it would be enough to know He loves me. :) He is a wonderful God indeed. I am so glad and thankful that I have such wonderful people to worship with. God has blessed His church and keeping in touch with everyone on here is so beautiful it is like cyber camp-meeting. :) Keep the 240 and God will bless you beyond what you could ever ask or think. Love you all in Christ!!! Kisses, Kezi
Ok last night I did, by far, one of the koolest things ever. I went on my very first haunted hike. Oh, and by the way, just to set the record straight, I do not believe or celebrate Halloween. Len, a friend at work, saw it in the paper and the more she read the kooler it sounded, we made reservations for Len, Carly, Kendra, Rachel, and I. We had a blast! We hiked mile and a 1/2 up and down these Tennessee hills and through the woods. And no, I wasn't going to Grandmother's house and the wolf did not make an appearance. The Big Ridge State Park Ranger led the way through the forest. Along the way she stopped and told us a story about a couple who were walking through the woods late one night because someone was sick and they were going to help. This was back in the 1800's. Along the way they heard a noise that sounded like a dog but they continued. Eventually the dog was tripping them and getting in their way. When they looked down there was nothing there. They never saw an animal, but they heard one and felt one all the way to where they were going. Needless to say, they got spooked and took off running. After that story we stopped at the old grave yard and saw their graves. Then the Ranger told us another story in the grave yard before we headed on up to the site of the old house. When we got there we all stood around what use to be the old cellar, all that remains is a hole in the ground. While standing there the Ranger told us more stories of things this family would see and hear in this house. One couple was offered the house for free if they would spend the entire night there. The husband, knowing the previous tales that accompanied the house was very objective to it and denied. The wife, on the other hand, being a practical woman convinced him to stay with her. Throughout the night they heard noises in every room. With each noise the wife would grab her husband by the hand and drag him to the sound and each time there was nothing. They lasted all night and in morning the owner of the house said, "Congratulations, the house is yours". The husband felt pretty proud of his strong wife and thanked him. The wife, on the other hand, decided it really wouldn't be worth it and said she wanted to be closer to her mother. They kept the house, however, they did not live there, and only worked the fields. Some of the stories were kind of humorous but we did get pretty spooked at one point. While the Ranger told the story she came to a part that spoke of the couple hearing footsteps on the porch, at that exact time we heard "BOOM, BOOM, BOOM" in the distance. We heard it the entire time she spoke of the footsteps and then we didn't hear it any more, (nothing was staged) and we were in the middle of nowhere. This really spooked Carly. On the way back we walked on a ridge and the return trail was very difficult. I was looking around with my flash light and I saw a root coming out of the ground that looked just like an old tomb stone. I was showing it to them and the next thing I knew I was falling and stumbling over a stump. I busted my shin all up, but I'm ok. Everyone was laughing at me though. :) Anyway the night was absolutely beautiful and the stars were incredible. I kept tripping because I was looking at the sky. :) I wish I could have slept under the stars, but then again, it was cold and the stories weren't very assuring. If I ever have the opportunity I will do it again. So, that was my Saturday, after Friday the 13th, on a cold October night.
My Papa used to sing this song. And on the last verse he would mention all the people he knew he would see. I know he is in heaven singing praises with all those saints today.
I BOWED ON MY KNEES
I dreamed of a city called Glory,
So bright and so fair.
When I entered that gate I cried, "Holy"
The angels all met me there:
They carried me from mansion to mansion,
And oh what sights I saw.
But I said, "I want to see Jesus,
He's the One who died for all."
Chorus
Then I bowed on my knees and cried,
"Holy, Holy, Holy."
Then I clapped my hands and sang, "Glory,
Glory to the Son of God."
Then I bowed on my knees and cried,
"Holy, Holy, Holy."
Then I clapped my hands and sang, "Glory,
Glory to the Son of God."
I thought as I entered that city,
My friends all knew me well.
They showed me the streets of Heaven;
Such scenes too numerous to tell;
I saw Abraham, Isaac and Jacob,
Mark, Luke and Timothy.
But I said, "I want to see Jesus,
He's the One who died for me."
"Bless the LORD, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name."
Psalm 103:1
Ok Below I made a comment about my psycho customers well today was another one of those days. You may not believe it because I really didn't when I first heard it, but when we have a full moon the customers get worse and we have the craziest calls. Some times you have to wonder just what are they thinking. "Common sense is not so common" (Voltaire). If you have ever worked in customer service you would understand just what I’m talking about. Well, I don’t work in customer service anymore I take the calls that customer service can’t handle, the supervisor calls, and they are wacky. Anyway today went by really slow. Like George Burns once said, “I spent a year in that town, one Sunday”. That’s how it felt today, like I had been there a year. But it’s over now and I can look for another hectic day tomorrow. The Bible says, “This is the day that the Lord has made let us rejoice and be glad in it”. I am so glad that no matter what I have to face I can have peace and joy through it.
Ok it has been a few days since I have posted anything. I don't have time to write much, I have to get to bed since there is church tomorrow. But I didn't want to wait to post something, it would only get worse and then the soda thing with the fizzling out would happen like it has always done with my journals. :) I really do allot better with digital stuff. I’m a high tech girl. I do better typing than I do writing. I don't know why, it’s just always been that way. Anyways, I am now typing sweet nothings. Actually they aren’t really sweet so I guess they are just nothings. :) I am really looking forward to going church tomorrow. We have had some real psycho customers and it really makes for a crazy week. It makes you look forward to the upcoming church service and the wonderfully good food God has prepared. I wasn't able to go to church Wednesday night. Mom has had the flu and I think I was coming down with some of it. But God has been good and not let me get it full blown. He keeps me pretty healthy. Anyways I think I will say good night and sweet dreams to all. I’m now going to make some floating ZZZZZ'z. God bless!!
Hey people ~ Ok yesterday I was sick so I didn't go to work. But today was my first day back after that wonderful week of CM. Even though I worked all week and went to night service it is still hard to go back to work after a meeting like that. It was wonderful. If you were not able to be there you have so gotta try to go next year. Every service was such an encouragement. The fellowship was so sweet and the meeting went by way too fast. I miss everyone so very much and I can't wait till the next meeting. Well gotta go eat dinner (Chinese tonight.. yum!!). Peace!!
Ok I have no clue as to what I am doing. I guess that really isn't new news but this is my first blog and I am learning as I go. If it is anything like the journals I have kept in the past it will last like 2 days and then fizzle away like a glass of sprite left on the counter a little too long. Maybe I can make this one last a little longer than that now that I am all grown up. Well let me go research and see how I can make this look like I know what I am doing. Toodles!! Kezia
