SPRING FORWARD

Yes, I'm the photographer!! :) I was very pleased!!

Spring is here and I am springing back into the blog zone. :) Yea I admit that was a bit corny but I really have missed blogging. :) I have missed you guys. :( I am going to try to be more regular in my blogging and keep up with you guys more. :)

The other day Mom, Mackenzie, Spencer, and I went to the National Wildlife Refuge near our house. Mom and Spencer love animals and Kenzie and I love taking pictures so we thought it would be fun. :) Mom woke us up at like 5:30 in the morning we weren't real happy at first but we ended up being glad we woke up. We spent like 4 hours there. We took so many pictures. We saw Gators (big ones and small ones) we saw lots and lots of different birds and we saw a turtle. We saw beautiful flowers and butterflies. But the coolest thing we saw was right before we actually went into the refuge. We had just past the sign that says wildlife crossing ......Give 'em a Brake.........

When right in front of us a Florida Bobcat crossed the road. He was walking real chilled and slow like he had no worries of being hit. So we slowed way down and watched him pass and we were so excited to see him that none of us took a picture (three camaras and not one picture). We were sick. But it was really cool to see anyways. :)

We did however takes lots of pictures of the other animals. It was so wonderful to see God's creation. When you think of the detail in just one little butterfly all the way up to a big ol' Gator it is really amazing. God put so much love into His Creation. I couldn't stop snapping pictures, and neither could the girls!!

Then as we were leaving we took a wrong turn that ended up being a nice ride but what we did not realize we were pretty low in gas and the gas light came on. Well I know that you can drive a while with the gas light on but the thing was I didn't know when it turned on and I didn't know how far we had to go. So I asked Mom to pray and we stopped worrying. We just kept driving. We even stopped to ask directions from some people only to find out they were lost as well. :) We let them use our phone and they got thier directions and told us where to go. Then I just happened to look down and our Gas light was off. It was pretty neat. I was praising God and the girls were looking at me a little funny and I asked them if they understood what had just happened then I went on to tell them that God put gas in our car. We made it all the way home which was like 40 min cuz Mom wanted to make a couple of stops first. :) Thank God for His protection on us in our stupidity.
